I needed a break from working on other project and decided to tackled this one. I've not done props before so this was a bit of an experiment. This is my second go at the project and it turned out really well.

Top left: Just molded the foam in to shape. I burnt it a bit on the oven lol.
Bottom Left: I used a mold and glue gun to cast out bunch of these motifs and I reheated them to attach them to the foam.
Right: at this point I painted it with gold paint and gave it a bit of aging to bring out the patterns.

so far I'm very happy and can't wait to finish this project!!!

For sure! I had lot of fun. I'm slowly learning more techniques. I'm trying my had on using Sintra and casting. One day I'd like to make armor based costume ^_^
